Artificial duotone is a way to create a duotone-like effect out of an RGB file. You can also take a greyscale image and convert to RGB for tinting.
The (R,G,B) to Grey, will if all put to 255, make the RGB file a greyscale image. If not put all the way, it will retain some amount of color.
The Tint (R,G,B) will add that particular color. If all of them are put on all the way, it will tend to blow out the image. However, an amount of 25-60 should produce good results.
Note that you can grey out two colors, leave the third untouched, then slightly tint the two greyed out colors for some interesting effects. Emailware. If you want to send this file elsewhere, be sure to include this text file. Have fun.
